The pool pump was not defective. The pipes to the pump were cracked like someone had stood on them. We replaced them and the pump etc worked fine. The pool needs extra attention since the pump was off for many days. I would like to get it cleared up soon since I am trying to sell the house. The new house pool is ok, but was not cleaned as good as it normally is. I'm sure that will be corrected this week.

I had Wilson pools close my pool two seasons ago. I didn’t open it last season because we had to save money, bad economy and such. We got a new liner installed this week and we were getting the pool ready to start it up for the season and I found once we got to the water level to the jets the pool started leaking. I went to the area where I found the leak and cleared out the plants and found about 20 feet of pipe, shattered and broken. I found the plugs on the sand filter, and the pump not removed. Normally when they have closed the pool in the past they take those plugs off and they throw them in the basket inside the pump. I don’t know why they didn’t do it this time. Anyway, it looks like somehow there was water in that pipe that froze at either last winter or the winter before and comp
