Window Installation by The Home Depot

We contacted Home Depot in September 2025 for a sliding door installation. The process started with misinformation about ordering options, and once installation began, it required multiple visits due to missing or incorrect parts, poor workmanship (visible gaps, exposed holes, doors not closing properly), and installers who were unfamiliar with the type of doors we ordered. I repeatedly had to go into the store and reorder parts without clear guidance, which was frustrating and time-consuming. One installer visit was especially uncomfortable, as the issue worsened and the installer raised their voice when questioned. The installer, Chris, did a fantastic job! He switched over all my old door hardware and made sure everything worked properly and kept the site super clean. Very pleased.

I started an exterior door replacement project in August and it wasn't completed until late December. Nothing happened as promised or expected. Home Depot continually sighted supplier or installer issues out of their control. Very poor business. Obviously no vetting. The only thing they did seemlessly was charge my credit card. I now have what I would consider an 'adequate' job. Mostly I ran out of patience with changed appointments, forgotten supplies, nicks in flooring, bent screens etc. I cut my losses at 'good enough. A poor experience to the point that I will always go elsewhere in the future.

Very pleased with the project. Door is of Very good quality and adds to the appearance and charm to the family room. Installation was very professional and completed in one day . Installer was very professional and safety aware. Good job Home Depot!

Could not have asked for a better experience from first contact to door install complete. Professional all the way, communication excellent and a fair price.
