Window World of Augusta

Two years ago they replaced two windows on my house. They were incredibly rude. Required money upfront by refused to give any kind of time line for when the windows would be replaced. I called to ask why, the receptionist had an attitude with me and would only say 'because that's how it is'. When I asked to speak to someone would could explain she hung up on me then complained to the manager that I was rude to HER. They called my partner (who did not even live in the house at the time, I own it) to complain about me. It took 6 months for them to replace two standard sized windows. Now about two years later, the caulk is already failing, peeling off. They clearly either use completely crap quality caulk or didn't clean the window before applying (or both). We purchased windows from windows world 20 years ago. We had two windows that needed to be replaced. Due to their excellent warranty, the windows were replaced with no charge, so when we needed windows for an addition, window world was our first choice.

Much better quote than Home Depot or Lowe’s! Stephanie was great about keeping me informed about the whole process. She even got me in earlier than expected. The installation guys worked efficiently, and I was so thrilled with the results. What a difference new windows make! My house looks like it got a total makeover. Would definitely recommend them to others.

WW is wanting me to commit $6K (50% of the project) without any installation commitment from WW? No thanks. I've been down that road too many times. Once some suppliers get your deposit, they take their sweet time getting to you along with their 11th hour postponements. I have elected to hire a different supplier who has given me a reasonable schedule. Good luck with your business model.

Great Windows! We immediately noticed a difference in our house. After installation, the house was warmer with no drafts. We’ve also noticed a significant decrease in our power bill!! The windows look beautiful, inside and out. They installed 13 windows, 1 large sliding back door, & 1 transom window in 2 days. The price is reasonable and certainly adds value to a home. We can’t say enough good things about Window World in Augusta!
