Witte Bros Excavating Inc

About 40 years ago I was working on getting my CDL. I didn't have a semi for the road test so I called around to rent one. I was turned down by everyone but Witte Bros Excavating. They delivered the truck to the testing site & let me use it, then had me drop it off at their business when done. They would not take anything for doing this. I have lots of respect for this business after that. I have had them deliver gravel & sand over the years, very nice, fair priced & easy to work with. My son called last week for sand for his daughter's sandbox. He was told if it was for the sandbox, it was free!! Who does this? Can't say enough good about this business, their honesty & moral character are exceptional.

I needed a large quantity of black dirt. This was a new experience for me. I called Witte's who were very easy and pleasant to work with. The lady I spoke with was very helpful and patient helping me with figuring out how much dirt I needed. The delivery of a dump truck full of dirt was prompt and the driver worked with me on the best place in my yard to dump this large quantity of material. The black dirt appears to be good quality rich black dirt for my lawn. This was a great experience and I highly recommend Witte Bros.

This company has integrity they were two yard short on the first dirt delivery so they dropped off and extra 10 for no cost to us very thankful for such a honest and generous company !

Great prices on rock, dirt, and mulch. Ordered 3/4 inch clean and pulverized black dirt. Both were very reasonably priced and delivered quickly. The black dirt was very clean and great for our raised garden beds. Will definitely buy from again as more yard projects progress. Thank you!

Maybe I was just unlucky, and the other reviewers were lucky. But this was my experience with them. No answers from phone, no one in office during business hours. Only response I got was from email. First time they gave me Mulch prices when I asked about Rock. Second time I asked they told me "Rock is not cheap" and I should call them. But still no answer on phone, and office was locked during business hours when visiting. After posting this review (without description) they had the nerve to email me whining about how I should have just called them. Edit: (in response to their response). I have email records to prove it. The whole point of a review is to share ones experience. I will not lie, but I even gave them the benefit of the doubt that it may have just been bad luck, or a misunders
