Spent hours picking out tiles with an associate. She was supposed to email me the information for the order. When she did not, we called back two days later and she had been terminated. We asked them to look for the paperwork and call us back. They did not call back. We had to call two more times and leave a message only to finally be told they could not find the paperwork. It's one thing for the employee to get fired and the paperwork get lost as a result. It's a whole nother thing for them to not follow up with us once they found out they had clients hanging. You may be wasting your time shopping here.

I really appreciate WNC Ceramic Tiles. They have always been very helpful and patient with me. They don’t require an appointment (the other places in AVL did) and they have an enormous selection. Their prices are fair. Communication with staff is excellent.

Such an awful experience here, which was very sad, since we had heard this is “the place” to get tile. My husband and I were not initially greeted when walking in but were eventually approached by an employee. I understand that a sample of a tile does not have the same look once all the tile has been laid out side by side by side. So, I asked if they had any magazines, images, or computer-generated images they could show us, so we would know what the tiles would look like once installed. (A lot of different tile websites offer a generator for this.) To which we were told no, that if we wanted something like that, we would have to go to the individual supplier website to see if they had anything like that. (They have many different suppliers.) I have bought tile twice from WNC Tile and both times have been negative experiences. First time I bought $5000 worth of tile and they got part of the order wrong. They ordered the wrong color of a particular tile and when I addressed it with them, all I got was a shrug. I had to use the tile as my tile guy was coming to do the work the following day. Just bought tile again from WNC Tile, unfortunately. This time they failed to advise me that I would have to pay $85 freight on an order of $345. Again, I get a shrug which is apparently the best they can do. Go to Greenville, SC to get your tile if you have to- just don’t buy tile from WNC Tile.

The staff is helpful and friendly. I am so glad that I purchased all our time needs here and not a big box store. You just can't beat the knowledge and service from WNC Ceramic Tile.
