Josh and his teams performed a major backyard pool project for us. Our initial assessment and budget was good but then when a water drainage issue almost derailed the entire project, Josh and his team were able to to make recommendations to change the plan in a way that allowed for correction of the drainage issue without adding additional costs. There was great coordination between Josh and our pool contractor so that there were hardly any days where someone wasn’t working which allowed the project to be completed on time. Josh had lots of great ideas that we ended up using, all of which added minimal costs but major aesthetic appeal. The end result looks amazing and Josh and his group were a huge part of that success. I would highly recommend Wood Duck to anyone.

We are first time homebuilders and Josh was one of my favorite people to work with. He has great taste in landscaping and was extremely knowledgeable. Working with him was so easy - he is experienced, good at explaining things, and a good communicator. He always had the patience to explain the pros/cons of every decision, and never tried to upsell. In fact he suggested a couple ideas that helped save money in some areas so we could put it elsewhere. We basically started just taking every one of his suggestions and advice because we quickly realized he was always right. He was never pushy or hard to talk to - he is just really good! Josh and his crew did a fantastic job landscaping our entire house. They far exceeded our expectations from plantings to retaining walls to paver pathways and patios. The work was done well and at a great price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We have worked with other landscaping companies in the past and Wood Duck has been the best hands down.

Recently (on a Saturday morning because problems never surface Monday-Friday) we had an irrigation line that would not shut down. We are part of an HOA that has a complex irrigation system. Josh responded to our SOS promptly and resolved the issue. Thank you, Josh, for willingly taking the time to assess the issue and fix the problem!

We first contacted Josh in March when we were in negotiations in purchasing an additional lot at the lake. We selected Josh to redo 170 feet of shoreline. They began the work in July and finished in a few weeks. Wow!!!!! I have had lots of service work done on the farm and here at the lake and I will put this work and communication at the top! The crew was absolutely fantastic and extremely friendly, we couldn't have asked for more. As far as the work, WOW......it has been a total transformation from an overgrown jungle with hardly any riprap and lots of erosion to gorgeous boulders on the shoreline and the clearing of the vegetation and finishing touches on seeding.
