Justin, Jason, and Josh did an excellent job completely redesigning and installing new features in our front yard. Justin and his team came up with a design that was within our budget and featured plants that we both love. Jason and Josh are an absolute pleasure to be around. They completed the project in three days time and are incredibly professional. They also left the necessary care (burlap sacks, etc) to help the plants in the winter storms. They also took the time to teach me how to use the irrigation timer system since I have never had one before. We’re so grateful for their team in helping us transform our front yard!

I am Elizabeth (Keel) Jones. It looks like I didn’t pay attention and picked up my old Google account for this review. Relevant because to see the prior year comparison, you would look at last year’s review from Elizabeth Jones. The Woodlawn team (Josh and Robert and a brand new team member) returned for the standard end of fall maintenance routine - clear the weeds, get fall plant installations completed, freshen mulch and batten down beds for winter. Several months ago, Wood Lawn and Landscaping designed and installed a patio for us. We could not have been more pleased with the results. Today, Jason and Josh returned to complete some additional landscaping work: create a bed, install plants, and mulch and trim some holly trees. They were diligent, professional, very informative and suggested several things which will be included in future landscape projects. I am completely satisfied with the expertise and work ethic of Wood Lawn and Landscaping.

Every member of the Wood team understood landscaping and plants. They arrived with quality in their proposal (but, we all know anyone can do that). They backed that proposal up with hard work transforming depleted plant beds into healthy beds specific for the needs of the plant growing in that bed. They corrected leaks and hose deficiencies in a previously installed irrigation system, installed drains to address pooling water, put river rocks where river rocks should go and mulch where much should go. I enjoyed the part where they assisted us to move plants into locations that more properly met plant need. (In any newer construction installations, the plants will be small. They were my choice, so if you see a risky plant choice that’s my fault.) I appreciated their placement advice. I

These guys were awesome from start to finish. We called and Gary came out and we discussed our project which included establishing a metal landscaping border around our house, replacing a treated wood headwall, stripping nearly our entire yard of the existing grass and weeds. Installing a sprinkler system and bringing in many dump truck loads of beautiful topsoil, grading and leveling our yard and installing new St. Augustine sod. Gary then brought in Justin, Josh, Nelson and Robert who were all extremely nice guys and very hardworking on some really HOT Carteret County days in July. These guys know what they are doing and each of them is very conscientious and they work hard to get things just right to our satisfaction.
