Last week, I noticed that one of the large water oaks next to our house was losing bark. I took a picture, sent it to Woodland, and that morning Jeff was at the house to confirm that the tree was dying. The following Tuesday, the crew showed up on time, removed the tree, cleaned up the whole area and ground the stump so that the area is completely smooth. They even left me a stack of firewood! Terran and his crew were the most professional, thoughtful and courteous people I have encountered in dealing with the catastrophe of the Oxford ice storm and its aftermath. We had a 125+ year old willow oak next to our house that lost multiple limbs during the storm but miraculously our house escaped major damage. The limbs each weighed several thousand pound. My heavily wooded neighborhood in Oxford, MS suffered extensive tree damage during the recent ice storm. These guys are the best. I inherited one of Memphis's oldest Willow Oaks back in 2019 and the first thing I did was have Woodland Trees Service come out and assess it. They trimmed it up beautifully and gave it new life. The next year or so lightning struck the tree. Woodland came out and did a bang up job.
