Ordered garden mix and stone river rock across two separate orders. Delivery was perfect, on time, dropped where I needed it. Quality of the materials was fine. Minor issue that ordering on the web does not properly calculate delivery cost, so the supplier ended up calling me and having to add that. I recommend you just call your order in. Plus doing so doesn't hit a credit card until it's delivered, while a web order hits right away.

Recently received 3 yards of screened topsoil and overall satisfied although i would have preferred mentioning "extremely satisfied". For being screened, there were an awful lot of sticks in the load which I had to pick out with each wheelbarrow full. Delivery communication, timeliness and driver were all above my expectations. The soil is excellent and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yard Works or make a future purchase.

Recently ordered 4 yds topsoil/30% compost mix. My 4th (5th?) order from YW since moving to Powhatan. A few stones & wood chunks, but overall an excellent mix. Really like the delivery tracking app. Driver was on-time & unloaded right where I needed it. Will definitely use YW for my next project.

Aside from my positive experience with Yard Works as a philanthropic donor (providing mulch for public/community projects), I had a positive experience with them as a customer myself. Kind and professional delivery guy, was very careful with a large mulch dropoff.

I ordered (70/30) topsoil on Friday. The online delivery was the following Thursday. I called to see if there was a possibility of an earlier delivery...and my topsoil was delivered before noon on Monday! It was nice topsoil and the driver landed it right in the middle of the tarp I had placed. All in all, great experience. I'll be back!
