Yellow Garage

Went in for a health visit and thought it would be a great idea to snap a few pictures from above and of the very busy afternoon traffic on the way home. Went to the Miami Transplant Institute today and parked in "Yellow Garage" the view was beautiful and the treatment I received at the facility medical wise as well as on a patient level was great.

The Yellow Garage inside UMiami Miller is a daily reminder of how dysfunction gets normalized when branding replaces competence. Access is confusing, traffic flow is poorly designed, signage is inadequate, and enforcement feels arbitrary. It’s stressful to use, inefficient by design, and emblematic of a space built to exist on paper rather than to serve the people who rely on it. It works just enough to avoid fixing—and that’s the problem. That same pattern defines the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The institution is heavy on prestige signaling and light on operational clarity. Bureaucracy is thick, decision-making is slow, and accountability is diffuse. Problems linger because reputation is expected to compensate for poor execution. The garage isn’t an isolated failure;

Parking is ok. Sometimes the lower part from 1-4 floors be pack, but sometimes I do find a spot, but other that it's ok I guess.

This is the parking garage where Miami's Transplant Institute is located. They give everyone 2 hours free. If you are a patient, they validate your chip coin and you don't pay any parking fees.

Very tight spacing! Sometimes hard to get around in! Needs more informative signs ! Elevators are in need of revision! Very clean ! Needs work!
