We had a great experience with Zacarias Excavation’s snow removal services. After the snow last week, we decided our shoveling days are over lol. Our summer lawn ppl wanted an outrageous contract to pay whether it snowed or not. Looked online and found a number of businesses. Melvin from Zacarias quickly returned our call & said we’d be “on his list” after checking out our property on Google Maps. When we woke up to all the snow today, Melvin kept in touch, and updated all day on his location. He arrived late afternoon, and he and another guy were in and out in about 15 minutes. Great results. Fair price. Easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

DO NOT USE!! Poor quality driveway install. Blamed the asphalt plant. Stated he would come back to replace. Now, will not return my calls. Will not stand behind their work. Knew I made a mistake when I saw workers drinking on the job at 830am. Weeds growing through driveway within a month. Aggregate coming loose. Looks like a black gravel driveway. Stone work border cracking within a month of install as well. Zero talent. Zero credibility. 100% waste of time and money. Use anyone else. Check around and avoid Elmer or anything he is associated with as he seems to keep changing his company's name.

Truly impressed by the prompt response and professional workmanship. I spoke with him at 7 PM, and by 8:30 AM the next morning, he was on-site to provide an estimate. He returned the following morning—on a Sunday—to complete the job. He broke through the concrete beneath my deck, then leveled the area with stone and cement. I’ll definitely be using their services again in the future.

I highly recommend Zacarias Excavation. Melvin and his crew did an excellent job - at a fair price - turning my two-stepped and sloped backspace to a level beautiful backyard. This was a big project including building a 120ft retaining wall and leveling about 30ft wide space. Melvin's attention to details and his excavation and building skills is impressive. He helped me to pick the right materials at best price and he followed every engineering step that I knew such project requires. The team was very experienced, professional, friendly, respectful; and they finished the project in a timely manner as promised.

Melvin and his crew build a retaining wall for us in Winchester MA. The wall is using natural stones and cement and came out exactly like we hoped for. Melvin is calm and easy to talk to, and he delivers what he promise. I can strongly recommend him. I would not hesitate to hire him again.
