Zamaroni Quarry

Absolutely the worst dirt I have bought in Sonoma county. The service was fine but when I got home and tested there top end container vegetable mix it was lacking in nitrogen and was extremely rocky. I assumed maybe it’s to help with drainage but this dirt side by side with other dirt from around, holds onto more surface water and never allows for drainage or root growth. All plants planted in this dirt except the onions have a tough time pushing it all aside. It’s heavy and full of clay. Not at all good dirt for 50$ a yard. Never going here again. But the service was great. I have tons of root rot because of this dirt and it turns into a cement type consistency if not kept wet. Also you must mulch any plants that use this dirt.

Great overall experience. Went and got a yard of soil mix for 45$. All I could fit in a tacoma. Was in and out in 15 min. Didnt have a bed cover so they wet it down for me. Never thought I'd be happy about getting dirt!
