Zoo Garage

This is a multi-level, enclosed parking lot that is only a block away from the zoo entrance. Recommend paying for a membership if you visit the zoo with friends and/or family at least annually. Parking is not cheap, but is always free and with no time limit, for members. You just show your membership card and ID as you exit the garage. Zoo staff are always right by the exit if you have any problems exiting the lot. On popular weekends, this garage fills up, but there is also an outdoor parking lot as an alternative. If you're not a member, you have to pay for your parking at a Zoo kiosk near the entrance, before you head out.

Love that it is right off the highway at the zoo exit, no driving around looking for it. Lots of parking and an easy walk to the zoo. You pay when you leave too. I suggest buying your parking pass online then you just scan thr QR code when you leave, quick and easy.

The Philadelphia Zoo Garage is spacious overall, but the individual parking spaces are extremely tight—making it a bit tricky to park, especially with larger vehicles. The layout could definitely use some improvement. On the plus side, the staff are helpful at times and do their best to manage the busy flow during peak hours. It's convenient if you're visiting the zoo, but be prepared for a tight squeeze when parking. Paid parking.

Plenty of parking, J1772 Level 2 EV Chargers are available on the first floor but operated by FLO and they charge almost $0.40/Kwh. You will also need the app. EV Charging does not seem to be enforced on the weekdays

Parked here for eastern state Halloween nights. The website for the eastern state penitentiary did not disclose that the garage would close at a certain time, but we were not mad at that. We called the number on the door to contact management. They were sooo helpful, and said a supervisor would be contacted and to wait. In about 15 minutes the super came and was so helpful and saved our night! He was not angry and was so nice! We didn’t get his name but really an amazing human being. Thank you so much for the positive attitudes of all the employees.
