1201 N Fillmore Street Garage (Atlantic Parking)

PAY AT THE EXIT! The 2nd floor ticket machine created errors. When paying by a credit card, it then said “ticket is invalid. Please remove ticket from the machine”. We pressed all the buttons on the machine and the ticket never came out. Called for assistance and he kept telling us to cancel. There’s no cancel button label and we pressed all the buttons to no avail. He told us to go call assistance again at the exit- and we keep mentioning that we should be charged $7 that was shown on the machine. At the exit, we called assistance thinking he was ready to help us and we waited for so long with no pick up. Frustrated, we decided to just pay the $24 lost ticket fee to be done with this horrid parking lot. Just park at the colonial park across the street.

1. This garage charges $6 if you’re parked a second over 15 mins. Tesla owners, go to the Falls Church supercharger if you can make it! 2. I just got stuck in this garage for almost 20 mins in the middle of a workday. No one is present in the attendant office and it took 3 calls to the offsite support number for them to finally say “the attendant will be there in 5-10 minutes” after 20 mins of waiting. If you’re charging people basically just to drive in, shouldn’t someone be onsite to assist in the event that a customer is stuck in the garage?

Park here monthly as a resident of the Avalon. They used to have free EV chargers and replaced them with new ones that you have to pay for and they put a $75 hold on card. Ridiculous

Props to Colonial Parking, Volta, and Whole Foods for making it so I can shop while I park and charge up for free. 💙💙

The garage has multiple abandoned cars as well as people “reserving” spots with cones to save their spot. The new management company, Atlantic Parking, doesn’t care at all and there is no enforcement of any kind in the garage. Often times the one way signs are ignored making it dangerous in the garage.
