150 Greenway Terrace

Wow! Things must have changed in the past few years because some of the other descriptions are unrecognizable to me as a current tenant. My apartment is very quiet -- I can't even hear the concerts in summer of my windows are shut. Maintenance has always been responsive and helpful. Accessibility is still definitely an issue, but that's true of many other older buildings in the area. (I recognize that that doesn't excuse anything; it's just that the problem isn't unique to this building.) I'm sorry others had such negative experiences!

Big warning to potential tenants. Stay away from this building! Terrible landlord (SIBA management) and shabby common areas. Disabled people and children in strollers are forced to use the basement entrance, instead of the front entrance where there is no ramp. They make ridiculous decisions with no regard for tenants, like shutting down elevators for 2 MONTHS! They won't make repairs for you in your apartment. The whole place is crumbling and falling apart. Also, it is terribly noisy. There is constant construction around the building. And you will always hear your upstairs neighbors stomping above you, because the wall and ceilings are paper thin. You have been warned. Good luck!

Great pre-war apartments for rent. Location can't be beat. Being in the Gardens the location is the best feature. However, the ownership is horrid and keeps getting worse. They dont spend a dime on upkeep and maintenance. They treat staff like slaves. Doormen are great but not 24 hour and management refuse to replace unsecure rear entrance doors. Barely self closing and shot. They ask for top dollar rent. Slumlords.
