Warning: this is not a review about the parking itself rather than the parking as a photograph spot. If you are visiting Chicago Loop area, this is a great standing view to soak all in the experience of the L without riding it. As much of the new visitors, riding the L is an experience in itself but if you watch it from outside, it will be also very rewarding! In the Monroe garage parking, yo can climb to the top floor and watch the train (I think it was the red line) pass and enjoy the view! I visited the place after noon and it was pretty safe, so just be respectful and have fun watching the L and taking some great selfies and photos!

Highly recommend AVOIDING this garage at all costs. Very easy target for thieves. My back window was smashed in with a fire extinguisher. Nothing that I notice was even taken aside from a small container with some change in it. Save yourself the 500 plus dollars for replacement window and park elsewhere. As I was heading to the police department I noticed several other cars with busted out windows. Their fire extinguishers are too easily accessed and set off no fire alarms when they are removed!

Park cars here overnight at your own peril. Window smasher lurks around and steals absolutely everything in sight (do not leave items in your car). I've witnessed 10 or so incidents this year and attached photos of a few. Also expect arbitrarily malfunctional barrier gates and support lines with no one answering at night. Enjoy!

Do not park here. Spot hero has a 4.8 rating which is bs. This is a Smash and grab garage. Back window was smashed with a piece of cement and car was ransacked. Again. DO NOT PARK here. Shame of spot hero for allowing them on their site. Spot hero won’t help and put it all off on the garage owner. Don’t use spot hero either.

Only giving this place one star because our vehicle was safe. But that's about it. You get what you pay for! It may be a bargain but make sure you read the fine print! My best friend and I came to Chicago on vacation, it was our first time here. As we were trying to find a spot we could get in and out of, this older man was chasing us in his car up the garage, honking his horn. We park and he's yelling as he's walking up to our vehicle. We have no idea what he's saying, who he is, or why he's approaching our vehicle. To say we were a bit alarmed is putting it mildly. He scared the crap out of us. After establishing that he worked there, he made us park in a certain spot and then we are told we have to pay extra for an oversized vehicle. Now that was my fault for not reading the fine print,
