201 E 28th St Garage

There is no small price to pay for hostility. Our party came to the garage seeking a safe space to park. Yet, we were not expecting to be yelled at for parking. There was no other customer behind us and we did stress that we needed a moment to update the parking registration to the correct vehicle. However, the attendant did not care and was yelling at us to leave. There was no backing up the driveway, so we had to turn around in the garage. During this time the attendant continued to follow and yell at us. He even got a manager to follow our car. After such an unexpected and unnecessary situation, we did Not feel safe parking at the 201 E 28th St garage. We ended up finding better parking elsewhere- one in which did not have a hostile attendant approaching our vehicle.

Second time I use this parking garage and for some odd reason I always find my front two windows open. I do not feel safe when I find my car with both windows down and the same attendant looking like he does not want to be there. Bad practice to constantly leave car windows down on a car that is powered off. Will avoid returning.

The person who works there just started talking like a rude person and saying, "Do you need glasses?" When did it become normal to communicate with strangers like this?

My boyfriend dropped my car off in the morning and when it came time to pickup the car we couldn't find the ticket. We had photo equipment that we couldn't leave unattended, so while my boyfriend waited with the equipment, I went to go pick up my car. I explained to the man working that we had lost the ticket and presented him with a copy of my driver's license, a duplicate copy of the car key, a description of my car, the license plate # and a description of my boyfriend who dropped it off in the morning. He didn't accept any forms of identification, despite me saying that he can compare my license with the license and registration in my vehicle's glove compartment. He said that he would only give the parking ticket to my boyfriend, who he remembered had dropped it off earlier. Okay- I

The man who was working there today 5/1 was abusive. I politely asked for his name given all the colorful language and insults he was directing towards myself and the other customers in the vicinity, and he said “I’m Mike Tyson”. He tried to charge me $80 when I had already paid, and then charged us an additional $35 instead for no reason which we paid because we didn’t want to be subject to his poor attitude and disrespectful demeanor, at which point he kept repeating “it’s all about money to you people at least I was born here”. Will never return here and will tell everyone about this terrible experience, including the city of NY.
