321 Floors

I put this off for a long time, but after researching attourneys and their retainer fees to resolve this, I figure its time to let everyone else know what they may deal with. I built my home in 2022 and purchased flooring here. they had a motto of "People over profits".... They get you with all the warranties, show how bullet proof the flooring is. have you d ip it in water, beat it with a hammer, etc. 6 months in, my floors started cupping and breaking. I brought it to the attention of this company, they tried to warranty the floor through the manufacturer, the manufacturer sent out a inspector and stated it was install error, the owner of 321 floors stated it was manufacture issues and he's had this issue with another home and no longer sells this product due to it. Upsetting when you pay over 4,000 bucks to get flooring done. Not even 4 days after the hallway piece glued down came off. I had let them know.. was told do go buy a certain glue and do it myself. Okay, really? Let it go. Just pulled stove out.. Are you kidding me! Also, the trimming used is not even all wood. Has a vinyl adhesive to look like wood. We bought our flooring at the end of 2021, installed beginning of 2022, because we wanted to replace our floors before our first child was born (the home had carpet when we moved in and wanted to have clean flooring for our baby to be able to crawl, etc). We were told the flooring was basically indestructible, shown a hammer not scratching it, all the things. Fast forward to now with two kids, only a three and one year old, the flooring is basically destroyed. The smallest of toys, toys scooted, rolled, you name it, scratches the floors. Toys played by with very young children, so it’s not as if they are very rough and tough. Bought luxury vinyl planking for most of our house in 2021. We anticipated this would finish our flooring needs for the rest of our time in this house. Buying product and installation went fine. Fast forward to 2025, and the planking is coming up, connecting snap in edges are broken and flooring is bouncing in several places. Called and Rick came out to view and said we had moisture pockets that were causing the flooring to come up. (At no time during installation was moisture mentioned and being new to Florida and trusting Rick, we did not know to ask.) I highly recommend getting your flooring from here. They were all very friendly and helpful and the prices were better than others for similar product. I was installing flooring myself, which I have done before, but was having trouble getting it locked together. I called the store and their installer Matt took his time and came to my house and gave us a couple tips needed for the better quality flooring I was using. He was super helpful and once we knew what we were doing we got flooring done in about 2 hours. Have one more room to do eventually so will be going there.
