38 W 46th St Garage

We are from Germany and for us everything was fine: paid 58$ for 10h (actually 3h, but it’s the same price for 2-10h), we made an online reservation on parking.com, that easy, you can do without registration. Google Maps easily brought us there. They offer valet parking and did all check-in with a tablet, sending a confirmation text message to our phone (works with all foreign numbers as well). We came back earlier (have been there on 12/22/2025, so the streets were full and cold) and they got our car within 5min (maybe we reserved a long vehicle lot for our Chrysler Pacifica). The location is in den middle of Time Square and Rockefeller Plaza, so ideal for us.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. It took an hour and a half for them to retrieve my car. And others waited for over 2 hours!!! There were maybe 7-8 people ahead of us when we got there, but they kept prioritizing what seemed to be monthly parkers who strolled up and got their cars handed to them after a 5-10 minute wait. We spent more time waiting for our car than we spent seeing the tree and grabbing a bite to eat. Such an unnecessary, frustrating and inequitable experience.

We waited for over 1.5 hrs at the garage for our cars. Their texting system and garage lay out is completely messed up. They have an elevator system where one car goes up and one comes down. We should’ve turned around and found another parking when it took us 30 minutes just to drop our car off. Picking up the car was a total mess. We saw people come and go with their cars while my family and I waited for over 1.5hrs. I had to speak to 4 different representatives as waiting times got ridiculous. Please look elsewhere for a parking spot as this place is a joke.

Do not do not do not park here, ever. Do you like to wait 90 minutes in the cold to retrieve your car? They have to search each floor because they don’t tag the cars properly or have any kind of organized system. If you like to waste your time and are looking for a way to add stress in your life, go ahead and use this lot!

Cero Starts actually. Waiting over an hour and 30 minutes to get my vehicle. I’m still waiting right now. False promotion at the entrance claims to charge “$16.90 if you enter between 5am - 10 am out by midnight”. Absolute scam, you can only park for 12 hours. Online customer service claims that the sign does not reflect true promotion and that it is out of date. Yet, they keep putting the same sign up (it’s been months and this situation continues to happen). I work near to this garage and that’s why I attempted to use it one last time. Rather walk a couple blocks than to ever park here again. Metropolis is the worst parking service in the city!
