50Floor: Richmond Carpet, Wood and Flooring Installation

Had 2 rooms redone with LVP flooring in 2023. Recently, I noticed there was a hole in the floor underneath a floor mat I had put down. Pulled that plank up and saw the LVP was put over subflooring with knot holes in it. Also, the foam on the back of the plank was crumbling. I sent pictures to the company and they said I only had a one year warranty. I told them that floor never should have been put down on that subfloor(I didnt know the condition of the subfloor at the time of the install). A professional should have been able to look at the subfloor and tell me that those knot holes needed to be filled or the subfloor replaced before I put anything over it. They never mentioned it and now Im just SOL. Was offered to have someone come out and give me a repair estimate. I declined as I do n

50 Floor installed floors for a relative. They outsource the installation. The men who installed the floor caused damage to the walls in the room where the floor was installed and covered the damage with chairs so it would not be noticed until they left. After reaching out to 50Floor to discuss the damage, they refused any accountability to repair it - after some persistence they sent the installers back, but they only brought caulk to patch the wall. This is an unfortunate experience as there are other areas in our home we would like to have the flooring updated, however, after this initial experience we will steer clear.

Disappointed - Do your research and check reviews! Had a new enclosed sunroom installed. The floor was concrete and wanted to cover it with LVT. Was told a skim coat needed to be put down to fill the seam and even out the floor. Talked into the molding color to be the same as the floor tile. Paid half up front. The day of installation was upon us and two young guys claiming minimum knowledge of the english language arrived at the door. They had asked for payment upfront. I immediately told them after they were done. They put plastic down and started to install a floating floor. Asked about the skim coat and was told, no skim coat. First off, they did an amazing job. My floors look amazing and I am pleased. thank you very much! The process: we put in an inquiry online and the sales rep came out and brought samples. (You do not get to keep the samples). We chose the flooring we wanted based on budget. The sales representative was not pushing anything in any way but simply showed us options. They then set you up with a date for the install on the spot and take a 50% deposit. I think they offer financing as well. Completely happy from start to finish. Shelly C. came to my home with carpet samples, answered all my questions, no pressure whatsoever. He reassured me after I told him about some reviews I had read. On installation day Edwin walked through with me before, letting me explain what I wanted and after, making sure I was happy. His whole team got busy and did a great job. My new carpeting look fantastic. Thank you
