6th and K Parkade

Pretty pricy but super convenient. Literally right next to stadium entrance. I bought the parking pass from someone else. Say that because the sign at entrance said only monthly or pass Parkers allowed. Got there an hour before game and getting in was quick and then not to bad once inside. I left game early. Pretty confident that it would be an absolute circus to get out of garage and downtown after game is over.

I parked here for 8 days. Really good price, it was about $15 to $18 depending on the night. As you may have guessed, weekends were more expensive. Also quite safe, there is always an attendant on the 6th street entrance. The positives of this parking garage was the price, the safety, the location and personnel support. The issues I had were about the vouchers used. This does not quite reflect the parkade in general but more reflects Ace Parking and their systems. I used the Ace Parking app and website to buy my vouchers. When you print these vouchers it says they are valid from 10 am to 10 am so essentially it is a 24 hour voucher. Came here for Proper NYE on New Year’s Day and this Parking structure was great. Parking was $15 all day and I was only a few hundred feet away from the petco park entrance. Plenty of parking and safe to leave your car.

You know why I love this parkade so much??.... Even when the Padres aren't playing it's in a great spot to access pretty much the entire Gaslamp Quarter easily. It's always easy to find even if you're not familiar with the city at all. And it's safe. They have adequate amount of cameras and personnel to ensure the security of the parkade. I feel safe leaving my car here even for days at a time. And they're decently priced despite the fact that they're in the middle of downtown San Diego. At least I think they are. These days parking is just outrageous in any city you go to, but to park there overnight for several days (including weekend days) for just $35 is astronomically cheaper than most public parking spots in a large city, like San Diego. Great, cheap parking. I have stayed for a conference for 8 days. Pricing is $10 flat till 6:00 p.m. and then $1 per hour. I would recommend to pay when you exit because you have 5 minutes otherwise and that's not enough. You can get a receipt. When there is the game there is $15 up front until midnight and then $1 per hour. Free In-N-Out anytime.
