I would've written this review sooner, but shortly after the work was done, the wife and i went on vacation to Germany including Oktoberfest and just returned a week ago. So I wanted to have a central wall heater in my mom's older house in Salinas replaced with a furnace and duct system that would be more efficient at heating the whole house. I wanted a local licensed contractor to do the work so I looked in the California contractors state license board site and got a list with Salinas addresses. After doing some online research and reviews I narrowed it down to one my plumber recommended and to Felipe's 831Heating. I found 831 Heating Inc. online and made an appointment with the owner Felipe to get an estimate to replace our inefficient, 30+ year old Rheem furnace (4.8 Google rating was a key selling point to reach out to him). Felipe's estimate came well under the other estimates that I collected, and he proposed using a smaller, more efficient 80% two-stage Bryant furnace. We accepted his bid and were grateful for all he did: Felipe was extremely knowledgeable making excellent recommendations all along the way, punctual, an excellent communicator, and the installed furnace looks great and works like a charm (see attached photo). I highly recommend Felipe and 831 Heating Inc. to anyone looking to replace their furnace!

Felipe is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional. He did a heat pump install for me and did an excellent job. Always on time and communicated well. He’s a good problem solver and went above and beyond to get the job done right. His assistant Jessie was great too.

We hired Felipe on the recommendation of a contractor who we.appreciate his work. Felipe did an outstanding job installing a new heat pump system in our 95 year old home after the forced air furnace failed. He went above and beyond with installation, removal of the old duct work under the house, removal of the heater, sealed the old vents and our new Bryant system is amazing. He was patient with explaining how it worked and how to maintain it.. We now have air conditioning too! He and his assistant Jesse were professional, knowledgeable and left a clean job site. His estimate came in just as he had stated at the start of the job, no surprises. Cannot recommend 831 Heating highly enough. Best money we have spent in a long time.

Felipe is the best technician in the 831 area. He is experienced and capable of taking on any task. He also responds fast and has excellent communication with the customer. If you need any heat or AC work done at your home, look no further.
