99 Jane Street Garage

I’ve been using SpotHero for a long time and have never had any issues with any garages until now. The man working on 12/27 between 7:30am to 11am was rude and aggressive. I paid for a reservation from 7:30am to 7pm. I let the attendant know I would come back at 7. Unfortunately I was not feeling well so I returned at 11. This grown man yelled at me for coming in early and told me I had to give the exact time. From the previous reviews I see that this is an issue and perhaps is due to how cars are parked, fine. But for this man to slam my door shut in my face was not necessary. All that aggression at 11 am was not needed. I was happy that my parents were with me because I did not feel safe at that point.

I cannot believe that they call this place a business in NYC. The attendant is miserable and it comes out in his customer service. But it’s really the owner. He needs more attendants if they cannot handle it. He hides behind his attendants when there is an issue and doesn’t feel a need to rectify anything. His attendants just don’t pick up the phone after you tell them What happened. No one calls you back from the main office. We were looking for parking around 9pm on a Saturday night, saw the weekend special sign, and only pulled in half way so I could confirm the rates. The attendant walked up to us, said the amount. I am reaching out to formally address an ongoing issue with one of the staff members at this Parking Garage. On multiple occasions, my colleagues and I have encountered unprofessional and rude behavior from this employee, who frequently complains about needing an exact return time for our vehicles. As tradesmen, our schedules are unpredictable, and we leave when our work is completed. While we understand the challenges of managing a busy parking facility, it is ultimately part of the job to accommodate vehicle movement as needed. It is unreasonable for us to be expected to provide exact return times, and we should not have to deal with rude remarks simply for utilizing the service we pay for. We parked our car here for a few hours on Sunday, and the experience was extremely disappointing due to the rude and unreasonable garage attendant. When we arrived, the attendant asked when we would be picking up the car. We estimated around 4:00 - 4:30 PM, but he insisted we provide an exact time, claiming that if we were even slightly early or late, it would create "extra work" for him. While I understand the need for efficiency in parking, this was the first time in years of parking in the city that an attendant insisted on such rigidity. When we returned to pick up the car, there was no greeting or basic courtesy, just more unprofessional behavior. Fortunately, we did not notice any scratches, but given the experience, I would strongly recommend taking photos before and after parking

DO NOT PARK HERE!!! The garage attendant should be fired as soon as possible. Very aggressive and intimidating to everyone. He yelled at me for walking into the garage trying to find him. He's not where he is supposed to be and yells at customers when they go into the garage to try to find him. Incredibly rude. I would rather park on the streets rather than park my car here.
