I am extremely disappointed with A1 Contractors and the solar system they installed at my home. The system cost me about $60,000 in cash, and not only does it fail to work properly, it is actually costing me extra money every single day. Without my authorization and without any programming on my part, the system charges the batteries to 100% using grid power during peak pricing hours (4–9 PM). That means I’m paying double for electricity I don’t even need. A solar system should save money—not create new expenses. I have been reporting this issue for over two months, and all I’ve received is the runaround. Not once has A1 Contractors called me back at the time they promised. We signed our contract for solar panels and batteries through A-1 in April of 2025. This nightmare of a project has dragged on for 10 months and over $100,000 has been paid. A-1 has no-showed a dozen times for work at our house, caused many delays, and have even requested payment early before work was complete! Our solar system STILL fails inspection and A1 is refusing to fix the problem. Avoid doing business with them, and cancel your contract if possible. The owners Luis and Manual are dishonest and will hound you for money every opportunity. This is NOT a reputable business.

Came and made assessment for a quote, never heard from them again. No answering phones and no way to leave voice message. Too many red flags for me to seriously consider using these guys!

Took a little while to get the process started due to the electric company! But patience is a virtue because they knocked it out the ball park, I been ripped off by other solar companies before but look at the quality of work out standing thanks A-1 Contractors Inc.

Baffled as I am about contractors who go to home shows, get all the information for follow up, go out of their way to sell their product then NEVER show up and do not respond to texts or calls. WHY DO YOU EVEN GO TO THESE EVENTS IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FOLLOW UP????
