A-1 Greenwich Plumbing & Heating

If I could I would give Neal 0 stars. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a trade. Several hours late and the third Time out he finally started the work he ended up getting in to a fight with his helper and helper left. Neal is extremely slow highly unprofessional. Didn’t finish the job. I really am on here to hopefully prevent anyone from going through the same experience and wast of time as I did.

Terrible experience. This plumber was unprofessional, rude, and overpriced. He arrived 2 hours late with no explanation and demanded payment prior to producing an invoice. He took hours to complete a job when all he did was snake a drain. Stay away.

I am very dissatisfied with the service this company provided. For a simple washing machine valve replacement he spent 9 hours and charged me hourly rate of $250/hour. A competent plumber shouldn't spent that much hours replacing washing machine valves. He claims he is very proficient in his job, but He clearly doesn't know what he is doing. He is very good in making up stories about his work and profession. He is a scammer.

I am very satisfied with A1 Plumbing and will contact them in the future for all of my plumbing needs. Neil is very professional, honest and reliable. He installed 2 gas lines for an outdoor kitchen and generator and did a fantastic job. He provided fair pricing and completed the job in the timeframe that was promised. I highly recommend Neil & A1 Plumbing to friends, family and anyone in need of plumbing or heating repairs or installation.

Absolute nightmare experience. I hired Neil to clear a clogged toilet in our guest room. It took him 4 hours and he charged me $700 which is crazy expensive for the task. the following week the toilet backup up again and the seal he placed on the toilet didn't hold so water to leak through the drywall causing significant damage to my living room below. When I called Neil to resolve, he didn't take responsibility saying this has never happened in his career. he's been completely unresponsive despite my frequent inquires. I had to spend even more money to fix the work he did. will likely take him to small claims court resolve. Complete headache. Hire at your own risk.
