The Caldwell, ID team from A-1 just stopped in to install a dishwasher I ordered from Costco. They were professional and tidy. Installation was quick. They ran a test load. Everything checked out. No damage to cabinets. Id highly recommend them for installs

A-1 technician installed a new dishwasher from Costco. He screwed the mounting brackets to the front of my cabinet frame, which put a crack in the wood. The brackets are very ugly to see right above the dishwasher. The side gaskets aren’t flush with the cabinet frame, and he didn’t clean his mess under my sink from drilling the hole bigger. When I reached out to them with my issues, I received a “Thanks, appreciate it.” I would have been better off installing it myself! Won’t call them back, I’ll have to fix it myself! I don’t recommend them! Had to add a picture of the electrical termination box. After fixing the lousy install myself and moving the dishwasher just ever so slightly in to move the brackets under the cabinet frame, the dishwasher wouldn’t start. And since I’m an electrician,

The overall experience is mixed but the result was a success. It has taken 5 reschedules to get our new dishwasher bought from Costco installed. I The first one was set on a date we were not in the state. For the second one, right before the scheduled time I was informed it was delayed to a window that overlapped my doctor appointment. The third one was on Saturday and it was no show. On the fourth one, installer discovered the shutoff valve didn't shut completely and I had to fix it myself. The fifth one was the charm. I have learned that it is definitely a shared efforts between me the homeowner and installer to get it done. I had to replace the shutoff valve under the sink myself because A1 is not allowed to do so. I wish either Costco or A1 informed me before coming out so that they di

A1 was supposed to install a new dishwasher. They were unable to due to incomplete plumbing underneath the sink. I was told that I would be able to reschedule the installation. They did not leave the contact information, and even after calling their office multiple times I was unable to get a hold of anybody nor did they give me a call back per their own answering machine. Overall extremely disappointed with the service and responsiveness to their customers.

The A-1 team did a great job. They installed 3 toilets from Home Depot. They were on time, polite and professional. Justin & Phen(sp) worked great together helping each other to quickly and cleanly remove 3 old toilets and install their replacements. I highly recommend.👍👍👍👍👍 New toilets were a needed upgrade.
