0 star. At the new home, I noticed they damaged 2 items. Also note that the new place is 10 minutes drive away. They stuff all of 2 bedroom worth of things into one truck and just do 1 trip. I asked multiple times if one trip is ok and Rob, insisted it'll be fine. They scratched a special collection desk and damaged a standing lamp. After 2 weeks of waiting for claims, their insurance decided they can't even compensate few hundred dollars for my $800 desk. They want to send people to inspect the desk when I already supplied pictures in thr claim and the movers ALL saw the damages. My standing lamp wire got cut during the move. Edit: In response to the business reply below, speak to Kristin. She will know W, I have been corresponding with her the whole time about the claim.

I used Mayflower for a cross country move several years ago. My things were in storage for 2 years, & they came back to move it to my final destination. I could not have been more pleased. However, I again moved cross country 3 years ago. We moved with only 2 bedroom sets & the remaining were boxes. My son's belongings were moved with ours. I had no problem with the pricing or the contact person we dealt with. Our things were in storage for a week before they moved to the new state. Our belongings went from the house to storage, to another truck, split into 2 smaller trucks then delivered to 2 apartments. There was no contact with us from the driver, & I had to call several times to see where they were. We finally received a call that they couldn't get close enough to the first apt. to pa

Damaged my desk, the movers even admitted to the damages but the company due to the insurance policy deductible they state they cant reimburse for the damages but instead send out some half assed company to try and "repair" the damages like I want them to take my desk or make a mess shaving wood and painting over it just to "fix" it. Avoid this company. There are much better companies that know how to actually take care of your property while moving.

This company was extremely accommodating and professional. They promptly provided me with a very reasonable quote and scheduled the moving day that worked for me. Their prices were very reasonable and the movers were very careful with our inventory. I will definitely be using this company again and would highly recommend them.
