A Fine Finishing

EDITED to Add: We still don't have the money from the reconciliation of work not done. It's been over 8 months of waiting. We also had an environmentalist come out and tested our basement. It appears Fine Finishing didn't thoroughly clean the soot and char from our basement, which they claim they did. DO NOT USE THEM! Absolutely terrible. Stalled our restoration for months, and then quit. Immediately after they quit, they brought in a lawyer who has been their liaison. Very suspicious. Their reconciliation of work performed to refund us unused deposit was severely incorrect. They insisted it was correct, even with our photographic proof. I don't trust them, their work, or their employees. Their attention to detail was horrific. It's been months, and we still haven't seen our money

I've been working with Fine Finishing now, for about two years, on a single project. I know that it's tough these days to find contractors and coordinate projects, but this has seemed to have taken way too long. We had a water leak inside our addition that has caused damage to ceiling and walls, trim and carpet. Two other internal repairs(by other contractors) did not fix it. Fine Finishing came out, suspected the second story window wasn't flashed properly and once they came out and tore off the second story siding, they found the second story window was never sealed. So, that blowing Canton wind and rain we get a few times a year, would penetrate around the window and run down the second story, right into where the addition connects to the existing house and leak into the addition. Fine Finishing built a new Trex deck for us. From the first design meeting until completion, the experience was wonderful! Our deck is nothing short of perfection. The quality of the workmanship and design is outstanding! On time every day, cleaned up at the end of each day. Fine Finishing will be the company we call for our next remodeling job!

I am so impressed with this company that I will recommend them to family and friends. A team of men came to replace my existing roof that got damaged on March 8. Jim, who oversaw the project, aside from being on the roof himself, worked hand-in-hand with the other workmen. They were all very pleasant and hard working. Considering the 90 degree weather they worked together as a team. I must add that the cleanup was triple checked to ensure no debris was left behind. The roof looks amazing. Mary from Taylor

I needed my upstairs bathroom gutted. I wanted everything replaced. They came in a timely manner and finished the job in a timely manner. Their workmanship was excellent. The owners, who ran the job, were their regularly. From the owners to the workmen, it was a great experience. I will be calling them soon for some kitchen remodeling. Steve in Woodhaven
