Last fall I have Pennacchi & Sons restore my front porch. The bricks around the porch and steps had come lose. The price was reasonable and the work was good. Only had 1 issue, the mason left his hand prints on the top surface of the porch. I called a number of times to ask if anything could be done (fill the prints or something). If nothing could be done they could have said so, but said they would look into it, nothing happened. Be sure you dont have any issues as follow up is lacking.

(2) For a company with a huge legacy, working throughout the county, there was no hesitation to see what our small job looked like and whether they could help. (3) The crew was friendly, timely, and efficient. Ray walked us through the process, gave us a play-by-play for the best understanding of the work and answered tons of questions. (4) The end result was better than the original.

I had a roofer came out for a small leak in my attic. He fixed it and while up on the roof took pictures of my chimney.Told me I had a big problem. Could be leaking now or would soon and I wouldn’t know it. Lot of mortar missing. I called A. Pennacchi &Sons. Paul came out the next day. He told me what needed to be done and gave me a price. I asked him if I should add a few bricks to the top. He said”why do you want to spend more money? “ ( what contractor says that?) It will look great when we’re done. (The men came out a few days later. They were on time, polite, got right to work and cleaned up like they were never there. The men came back the next morning and applied the last application. Worst experience I had the Paul Pennachi & Sons. In 2020- They were to restore & stucco the complete exterior foundation - removing any loose decayed stucco of the foundation and apply Acrylic 60 Thoro bonding adhesive to the complete foundation. Then they were to apply new white stucco to the complete foundation with a smooth texture finish. First- the contractor that did the job was messy - adhesive spilled over the patio and garden wall- I had to call Paul to have them clean it up and they did. Then I told Paul that the color on the foundation wall looked dingy and brownish- he said it’s white. I disagree. I know it’s been 3 1/2 years since I had it done but the foundation looks horrible. Water was getting into my house because of the old brick exterior of my home. It needed to be repointed and painted on the interior (water marks and streaks from the rain). Although this was a very minuscule and small job, Paul and his son, Paul Junior, were incredibly professional, listened and addressed my concerns. They were quick to respond to my needs and always on “point” (haha) with communication. I left their crew to complete the work without being home and everything was safe and secure when I got back. They kept their work areas clean and took away their trash. I had previously received a few other bids on the job but Paul’s price was the most competitive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
