A Stripping Workshop

They were 3 months late, with many excuses along the way when we called to ask where our table and bench was. John said they were going to strip our table and bench, then said they were going to sand it instead, then dropped it off with very rough sanding and sections of the table not stripped or sanded at all. Moreover there were a few sizable new chips, the edges are uneven, and the table was covered in sawdust when they dropped it off. Tardy, sloppy work. It pretty much ruined an expensive outdoor furniture set.

I really love Merry Go rounds when I saw these horses I wondered what they looked like when they were painted, now I can use my imagination to see them in a variety of colors from Gods rainbow. John is such a nice guy, his jokes are kinda corny though. lol I can't wait to see the newly painted horses.

I do not recommend A Stripping Workshop because of their competency, honesty, and ethics. They failed to remove the stain on our front door and did not stand behind their work. I engaged A Stripping Workshop to remove the varnish and stain from our solid mahogany front door. The door’s value is a approximately $4,000 - $5,000. It was important to have the door prpfessionally stripped because sanding would be difficult because of the corners, moulding, and tight spaces. I chose A Stripping Workshop because John said they have over 40 years experience. Stain is hard to strip so I asked him three times if they would be able to remove the varnish and stain. Three times, John deliberately told me that it would not be a problem to strip the varnish and stain. He said they used commerci

Whatever you do. 1. do not pay them first- I did and it seems I am going to be out a few hundred. 2. give them anything you want back in a short periord of time, or anytime for that matter. They picked-up six chairs on Jan 9th and I have not gotten them back yet. I get excuse after excuse as to why they are not ready. I could see if asked them to return the chairs in a few weeks, but I did not call for a progress report until a month after they deposited my check. I've been understanding and professional and have been treated poorly by this "business" . Quality rating HORRIFIC Anyone who has had a good experience with the Stripping Workshop must live under a lucky star.

They have had our doors for months and I was promised them back last week after I said I would come pick them up unfinished. I called Friday and again was promised them back by end of day. It is now Sunday and no doors. We need them to move a care giver in for a sick family member. I am more that upset at their complete lack of professionalism.
