A To Z Total Heating & Cooling

A to Z installed a 96% efficient American standard heating system and air air-conditioning system. They did a phenomenal job installing my new furnace and AC system, including their sales department and their customer support in their offices. I highly recommend A to Z For all of your heating and cooling needs, they are an awesome company to do business with! I had a terrible experience with this company. Robert Medel came out three different times, and I was charged over $100 each visit. • The first visit was to fix the AC unit. • The second visit was to fix the heat—only because he caused an issue during the first visit. • The third visit was again to fix the heat due to his own mistakes. I attempted to reach out to management several times and received no response. On top of all that, Robert Medel rigged the wiring in our home incorrectly. The setup was messy, unsafe, and unprofessional. He even left wires dangling out in the open, which is extremely dangerous—especially with children in the house. We still do not have properly working heat, and I was even instructed to purchase the wrong thermostat, causing more inconvenience and expense

As it so happens, this may be the 3rd time I've used A to Z in the past several months and Steve was the same person/technician each time. The first 2x were with/for my clients; I am a Realtor. The 3rd time was for my personal home. Steve was so knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly each time. The things I learned from him prompted me to take a look at my own furnace and schedule A to Z to come out. Thanks to DTE winter check-up reimbursement program I didn't pay this time. All around, I am VERY happy with my experience, the education I received, and especially with Steve.

I needed to get a boiler inspection done to complete my rental application. The house was vacant so I shared with them the lockbox code. I was not able to be there in person. The technician realized that one of the two thermostats was not working due to dead batteries. He then went ahead and replaced them with an emergency set he keeps in the truck and he was able to successfully complete the boiler check and approval. He could’ve easily said that the test could not be completed because the thermostat is not working and had me replace the batteries and reschedule the inspection. Instead, he did right for the customer, differentiated the company he represents and save all of us hours of headaches. Well done!

Great efficient service. Very family oriented. Fast and friendly responses. 2nd time (house) we hired them for a complete furnace & AC systems. After DTE couldn’t fix our furnace for 10 days and 3 different techs later with no heat for 2 full weeks, AtoZ got the job done! Thank you.
