Abbey Carpet & Floor of Tacoma

My experience started when I saw a great deal at Costco for flooring. I went home to do some studying and found that wasn’t what I wanted in my house for the next 20-30 years. After long research I found a few brands that I wanted to look into but Lowes and Home Depot doesn’t carry them. Only floor specialty stores sell it. Abby was closest to me so I headed over there and I’m glad I did! I met Jay Jay who was a cool laid back kid who really knew his stuff. He was able to go through the main differences between brands and let me bring home a couple samples to see it in the room and how it matched up with paint, trim, and furniture. I needed carpet for my master suite addition and after being underwhelmed by the selection and timeline from Home Depot, I decided to check out Abbey. I initially met Mick and when he didn’t have a sample of an option I was considering, he let me take home part of his display in order to show my husband. And we’re not talking about the board, but a piece of his actual display. When I brought it back the next business day, Brian assisted me in finding something that was within my budget and my very particular taste. They did a fantastic job, on time, and for the exact price quoted. The stairs look really sharp - perfect (which wasn't the case with a different company the last time). I'm very happy with their work and with this new carpet. Big recommend.

They were horrible the carpet is falling apart the guy did not took it under on the edges he ruined my baseboards that were brand new he showed up at my house and try to force his way into my den I had to threaten to call the police Bob the guy bought the carpet from I called him about it he said he'd be right out and it's been 3 days no word and I've called several times so now I have to have somebody else replace what they put in.

After 6 years of renters my carpet was disgusting. The owner of Abbey Carpet of Tacoma, Mick, came and took measurements and asked us a few questions about what we were looking for in a carpet. We went to the showroom at our convenience and he had already pulled some carpet samples and prices based on what we had told him earlier. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. The gentleman who installed the carpet was efficient and friendly which was an added bonus. I absolutely recommend using Abbey Carpet. Price, staff, and experience were all fantastic.
