Before the winter kicked in, I decided to have my heater serviced with a name brand company. I figured for the $59.99 check up could not hurt. Well they told me that my furnace had a “crack” and it was dangerous to run. They proceeded to slap on a sticker and made me sign a waiver that said if i turn it on, they are not responsible. They then said they would send a sales person over to give me an estimate. Ahhh makes sense now right? I kindly refused and began the hunt for a HVAC person I could trust and price was right. Only Charlie from Accu service actually checked the unit, turned it on and tried his best to diagnose- he was honest- said I could squeeze another year out of it. He left it up to me.
