Lynn and his crew are doing repairs and charging people for work that does NOT to be done. The very first words out of Lynn's mouth to me were, "it is not the valve, but whoever installed it out the coupling in the wrong place" I was skeptical of his assessment so I requested an official inspector from ORUD to come and confirm. The inspector mentioned Lynn by name indicating to me there was some history of a good relationship between them. The Inspector didn't even open the unit, simply said, "Well, if that's what Lynn says it needs, then he is probably right " **Remember Lynn's first words to me were that I didn't need a valve. He sent his guy over here to install the proper coupling and he also replaced the valve. WHICH I WAS TOLD DIDN'T NEED REPLACING. They "took" me for over $500 on

Regardless of what you are told, beware — Active Electric Motor Services will not accept returns or give refunds. I was told over the phone that I could return an unused item minus a 15% stocking fee. I drove from Knoxville to Oak Ridge to pick up the item, only to be told by the owner that it was incorrect. No returns/no refunds! Based on the reviews, it seems others have had this issue as well. Again, beware. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

I Went to the store with my blower motor and asked for a replacement. I was told they didn’t have the same motor but had one that would fit if I bought a mount. I was assured it was compatible. I got home and the electrical wiring was not compatible with my unit. I called back and was told no refunds. I am now out almost 200 dollars and still have a broken unit in the 90 degree weather. The motor was never used or installed and yet they will not take it back.
