Had them install a chimney liner 11 years ago and they did a horrible job! They didn't put a cap high enough and now the concrete around the liner fell apart and water seems into the house anytime it rains heavy. I don't recommend this company!!

Advanced Chimney was one of the companies that Home Advisor recommended I use. They seemed to have a good review. They repaired my chimney on 9/19/18. Early January I noticed that the mortar was falling out and that one of the bricks was cracked. I called and they said they would have someone come out to inspect it. After several cancellations, due to weather, mechanical failures they finally sent out the original technician that supervised the original repair. He told me that he could not repair the work and that they needed to get a mason out. Many more scheduled then cancelled appointments and the finally sent out a crew. they started the repairs and realized they did not have the correct bricks to replace. They have schedule and cancelled multiple time since and have not sent someone o

I hired Advanced Chimney to install a new chimney liner in 2012. When I called them to clean the chimney a few years later, the technician told me that the liner was installed incorrectly and that the work was guaranteed so that they would come back to correct it without issue. I had to call every day for a week just to finally get an appointment to get it fixed, since no one was returning my calls. They cancelled on me the day before and we had to reschedule for the following week. I confirmed again over the phone the morning before the new appointment and they STILL had the audacity to cancel that evening. I'm still waiting for it to be repaired. I've never dealt with such an unreliable company and I would not recommend them.

Advance Chimney cleaned my chimney April 2018 and it appeared to be a decent job, hard to tell. Started my first fire of the year at the end of November and as the fire got going I heard a clunk. The top section of the chimney brush they used dropped down from the chimney. Unbelievable. I pulled on it while the fire was going but could only get part of it out. Then I had to stop the fire, let everything cool (1 hour), remove the damper and pull out the rest of the brush which was bent from melting. Called the website number and spoke to Mike who said he was the owner. It was Friday, November 23, and he stated a service person would be over the next day or first thing Monday and the chimney would be checked and a free cleaning would be done. They called me earlier in the week stating that I was due for a cleaning. Scheduled for Saturday between 10 and 1. Then received phone confirmation for between 11 and 2. Once 1:30 came called to confirm and told technician is running late and would not be here until 4. Received call from technician asking to confirm my address did not feel comfortable giving out my address to a random person on the phone he got upset and then refused to come. Saturday wasted waiting for them
