Ahlum & Arbor Tree Preservation

I called Ahlum & Arbor in the hopes of saving my tree from being destroyed as part of the local road expansion plan. Paul took the time to listen to my concerns, review related documents, and examine my trees. He helped me understand the possible issues and outcomes, so I was able to make informed decisions. His report was thorough; it provided the data I needed to negotiate with the agent. In the end, the road expansion was redesigned to spare my tree and Ahlum & Arbor will take proactive measures to keep the trees as healthy as possible along the way.

We've had the pleasure of doing business with Ahlum & Arbor for many years. Usually the focus is on pruning and maintenance, ocassional storm damage cleanup, and once we had to have a removal when a large ornamental pear broke. Joshua and Anthony were out today for our maple's biannual pruning and to get ahead of the AEP crew. Shaping and moving limbs and branches back from the line, a little dead wood removal left the tree looking great! First rate cleanup as always. Eric is always quick to respond to our requests for estimates as well. There is a real difference in the training these guys get and the work that they provide. Thanks tons!

We had a young Freeman maple growing oddly, too much on one side. Not pruned properly at the nursery. Crew removed several branches that were competing as main branches. Trimmed the odd growth on one side. It will take time for the tree to fill in but we’re happy that it will be healthier in the future. Already starting to look better.

Great for tree work and CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TOO!!! Have done the lights for 2 years now. My whole street LOVES them and are sad when the light come down for the year. BUT MORE than the lights, meeting and talking with those from Ahlum & Arbor doing the light work is a true pleasure!!! The lights are so nice that the kids can play at night and we can have an outdoor New Years' Eve party with friends!!!
