We contacted them because we had backflow from the toilet when draining the tub. They said they could come out and charged us $1000 in advance to come out, thought that was a little unconventional but what can you do in a small rural area? Quoted his hourly rate which was agreed to. Once he arrived, he turned the water on full tilt and did not monitor it while outside. The whole bathroom, laundry and kitchen was flooding. The Ahlvers owner took no responsibility for the damages and would not provide his insurance information so I could file a claim. To add insult to injury he charged for TWO MEN, instead of the one quote and when we questioned the charges he said “whether I brought 2 guys or 27 it doesn’t matter”. We’ve had Ahlvers out multiple times for different reasons over the years. Service is always top notch.

We needed to get the bathroom sink unclogged and called this morning. By mid afternoon, we had the problem solved. Michael was so very kind and thorough and had our issue resolved pretty fast. We have also used this company for water heater install and faucet install. All times we have been well pleased with their work. They are busy so it could be a bit of a delay but they have always responded as quickly as their work allowed.

I called Ahlvers in a pinch when my garbage disposal went out. They were incredibly kind and professional from the very beginning! The installation of my garbage disposal took less than 15 min and overall everything was easy and smooth! I highly recommend these guys great service!
