I started using Air Conditioning and Heating Specialty on the recommendation of a friend about 10 years ago. I own several oceanfront properties at NMB and have had them replace 6 HVAC units at Avista so far. I have found them to be fast to respond to service calls keeping me from losing rentals many times. They also have very competitive prices and warranties and are very knowledgeable. Glad I chose them and am happy to recommend them to others.

I needed a new condenser on a rental unit last year and these guys were a better price than the company I had a service contract with. Their service tech was great, on time and did the job for the exact quote. I now use them on all 3 of my properties.

They came recommended from a personal friend after one of the big nationwide companies tried to tell me I needed a new system and wanted over 10K to put it in. Air Conditioning and Heating Specialty came over and correctly told me "no" I did not need a new system at that time. They cleaned my system and tuned it up and I got another almost 2 years out of it. When it was time for a new system, guess where I went. Have been with them ever since. You cannot go wrong Paul Urban and his team.

Remy came to my fiancé condo to do the 6 mo. check up on her HVAC unit. We mentioned to him the slow freon leak that noone had been able to find. He found the leak at a solder joint near the compressor in minutes! Quickly repaired it and added freon as needed. He thoroughly cleaned and checked out the components of the compressor and then came inside to thoroughly check the air handler and clean the condensation drain line. I was very impressed that he did that without me having to ask as I typically have too. Remy is an outstanding technician, especially given his young age. Definitely an employee I wouldn't want to loose if he worked for me. Both my fiancé and I will be requesting Remy to service our units from now on.
