I’ve never had a bad experience with Aker. Technicians are professional and honest. The office staff are top notch and provided excellent communication about when the tech would arrive. Prices are competitive. I highly recommend!

I had a spring that popped, called Akers doors and specifically talked to Erin. She was pleasant, and setup a service technician within an hour. Technician was punctual, knowledgeable, and Akers doors was fairly priced.

I’d avoid this company. We went with them being a recommendation from our builder but the tech was pretty lackluster. Fast forward a couple of years and we’ve been having all sorts of issues with a loose chain, noisy door, and it faulting out constantly when operating it. Had another company out and they diagnosed at least three issues with it; missing brace on the top track, backwards brackets, and misaligned tracks. The door has been working like a charm now…but I have no trust in Aker.

Aker repaired our garage door by replacing only the parts that had rusted out and failed. Only the bottom most panel and the 2 vertical tracks were replaced, along with a few rollers and 2 cables. Specifically, Rick performed the repairs quickly in a friendly manner. Erin scheduled the repair by taking into account what worked for us. And Joe provided several quotes that helped us decide what we wanted done. The quotes we got from other companies were hundreds higher. If you need a repair, or a new door, Aker may be your best bet.

From the moment contact was initiated, the response was timely, professional, and compassionate. I worked mostly with Mike in Sales, and although he is extremely busy in the field, he returned calls promptly and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Communication was flawless, and my quote/ordering/scheduling process went VERY smoothly. I always get multiple bids for projects, and with the most competitive pricing, Aker Doors delivered on quality BEYOND my expectations. Tom was my installer, and he was incredibly competent, professional, and neat as a pin - I couldn't tell he had been in my barn after he left! I HIGHLY recommend Aker Doors - I was referred to them by a smaller company because they don't do commercial work, and I'm endorsing them wholeheartedly. Thanks!
