Alexandria Electric

This place knows what they are doing. For 3 years we have been trying to figure out why we had to run an extension cord from 1 side of the house to the other so the other side got power. In the 3 years I have been in this house we had other electronics come out but never could give us and answer of why we are having our problem. I called Alexandria Electric on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning they were here at 7 am. It took them 40 minutes to find the problem and fix the problem. Now I can get rid of that ugly extension cord. A big shout out to Ted and Tommy for coming out and fixing my problem. They were both so nice and polite. They spoke to My Husband and I in ways so we could understand what they are explaining to us. Thank you Ted and Tommy for fixing a problem of 3 years. You guy

Horrible customer service. I called them several months ago about a backyard farm light that was on during the day so apparently the photocell was bad. About three days later a woman called me and wanted to confirm my request which I confirmed. About a week after that, some guy called me and asked if I called Alexandria electric about a farm yard light and I said yes and explained the problem to him. He said they were a little busy but will get back to me Within 2 to 3 weeks. Several months later still waiting for a phone call. I understand people are busy and so forth, but then you should just tell me that or tell me you are not interested and I should look for someone else.

Best service I could possibly imagine! Our power pole and main fuse box for our farm caught fire last night. Since the damage was "after" the meter our power company wouldn't fix it. I called Alexandria Electric after 9pm and Josh (company owner) answered on my first call. He offered to come out right away to get us temporary service. After going over the extent of the damage we decided to wait until first thing the next morning (our choice not his). His crew was here working to restore our power by 7:30 am. The guys were very friendly and professional and they had our power on in about an hour; new main panel, temp power cables and all. I was enjoying a meal in town with my young family recently when a dozen or more of these guys came in and sat near our table. I immediately started thinking about the awkward conversation I would need to have with my little girls about foul language. Instead, I was encouraged by their manners, demeanor, and pleasant conversations with each other. What a professional crew with obviously strong leadership! Integrity matters, even away from the jobsite. Thanks guys; we wish you much success!
