We used Alison's for a move out of Alaska to the lower 48. First off, they were all very nice and returned calls and/or emails in a very timely manner. My issues lie with the estimate and then the logistics of the move. We chose Alisons in a big part for their estimate as well as the fact I wanted an Alaskan company to do my move. Turns out, they hired another company to do all the packing as well as the transport, which perhaps is the standard for such a long move, but is was not apparent until the unknown packing/moving company showed up on day 1. Most concerning was the fact that even after we sold and gave away probably 25-30% of our furnishing and possessions originally viewed by the gentleman giving the estimate, the price of the move (which isn't finalized until they get a weig

When my uncle passed away he left behind a baby grand piano that was gifted to us. The piano was an hour away and my aunt was in the process of moving out of state. I contacted Alison and was able to schedule a move the same week. Even on the coldest day(-36°), the piano was successfully delivered. They packed and protected it for its journey to its new home. On arrival they were careful with bringing it into the house, used moving blankets, protected my floors, set it up and made sure it was where I wanted it. Customer service and time was great.
