Had a very great experience with Steve. We were having a problem with our thermostat for our home that we purchased. House was freezing and we weren’t getting heat. He was nothing but patient, understanding and careful to explain what the issues were. Made sure the shoes were off while he was in our home. He went above and beyond and even also fixed an issue with our dryer vent that needed to be cleaned out too, completely separate from our main problem. Make sure you get his opinion and an accurate diagnosis from him if you are unsure who to turn to in the area.

My heat pump was not working when we returned from vacation. I called Allen Mechanical at 8:00 am and my system was repaired and working perfectly by noon. The technician was friendly and competent . I've used Allen Mechanical three times and have been extremely pleased every time.

The new XV-17 system that Allen Mechanical installed last week is noticeably more comfortable than a traditional HVAC system. The heat is more comfortable and the temperature in each room is well balanced which all adds to the comfort level experienced. I am most impressed with Philip Allen's recommendations, system improvements, and hassle-free installation experience. My wife has commented numerous times about the improved comfort of the home environment. I look forward to upgrading the upstairs system next year with Allen Mechanical.
