Once you've decided to enhance what you live with everyday we highly recommend you hire Steve Allen and his team at Allen Outdoor Solutions for their expertise. Four years ago we decided to take the plunge - Sod & Irrigation system, in addition we have Steve's team do the necessary fertilization and aerating and overseeding in the fall. I would not recommend hiring Allen for your yard work. I spent over $7,000 on 12 Emerald Green Arborvitaes (6-7 ft tall) and 12 #5 Adagio Maiden Grasses. Within 30 days, several Arborvitaes were already dying and falling over, and the mulch was overtaken by weeds. When I called to express my concerns, they sent someone named "Jimmy" to take a look. He acknowledged the issues and agreed to replace three dead shrubs—for an additional $580—per the terms of their contract. He also offered to spray Roundup for more money, since they “don’t believe” in using a weed barrier. Now, 2.5 months later, none of the Adagio grasses have produced new shoots. I ended up hiring a reputable landscaping company to fix the mess. They noted that seven of the Arborvitaes had been planted too deeply and needed
