Allied Paving Contractors Inc

I'm not sure who hired this company, I assume it was Cherokee County, GA. They were hired to pave the side road that leads to our neighborhood. They paved the road several months ago and took FOREVER to pave it; it's a very short road. After completing the paving, they had a crew out to make some repairs to the entrance of our neighborhood. Again, this took far too long. Well, now they are back! They've begun to tear up part of the recently paved road to "make some repairs". They had the road completely blocked before noon today, and it's now 6pm and the road is still blocked. It appeared to me the paving job they did was fine, but I'm no expert so I can't really give an opinion about their quality of work. Filed a DOT COMPLAINT against this company today, after their truck driver in truck number 762, almost killed me and my daughter last night traveling down HWY 11 in Bethlehem ga…driving a dump truck at high rates of speed, trying to pass us in a turning lane and cut us off, because when we merged the road ran out and he was unable to pass us. He continued terrorizing us for miles, tailgating and traumatizing my daughter to tears. I see multiple complaints here so PLEASE file DOT COMPLAINTS PEOPLE…this company is employing dangerous drivers who have no regard for human life. What will it take, someone’s death, before action is taken?

Who ever is assigned to vehicle 1103 probably shouldn’t be operating the vehicle. Has a hard time maintaining the lane or proper speed because he was too busy on his phone. This went on for at least 13 miles. Not safe for his coworkers riding along with him.

Update: our entire area is still filled with trash left over from the paving crews. An employee jumped down off of the top of a cement truck and landed in front of my vehicle while I was following the pilot car. If I was a couple of feet ahead he would have landed on my windshield. Two days later I’m driving on the same road when I see an employee balancing on the edge of the Allied pickup truck like a gymnast only to fall off into oncoming traffic. (Unharmed, by Mitchel creek and Aaron’s way) The crews are also throwing/leaving their food/drink trash on the roads they are working. Especially where they make camp with their cars at the front of our neighborhood. Loads of trash left behind.

TRAFFIC CONTROLLER WITHOUT VEST OR SIGNAL SIGN (SLOW/STOP) LYING ABOUT BEING ABLE TO REVOKE MY LICENSE AND BEING JERK WITH A SUPERIORITY COMPLEX At Indian Brach and Sonny Boy in 30043. He was walking from the truck to the middle of the road with his head down as I drive down the road (on a hill with a sharp turn - right after a car passed him going into the neighborhood) There is a car coming UP the hill at the sharp curve (they are in the middle of the road). I slow down as I am moving towards the center of the road SINCE THERE IS A SHARP LEFT FOR ME AND A PERSON IN THE ROAD WITH A CAR COMING UP THE HILL ALSO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.
