Alpha 1 Service

Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very very nice. They did the best they could to get the repairman out quickly, but it still took a week. But when the repairman came, he was absolutely fantastic. He had brought two separate parts with him because he thought that they might be the trouble and it turns out they were the trouble. He exchanged both of the parts and stayed until the washer filled up and drained and agitated. I highly recommend them. I know they are very busy, but I had absolutely fantastic service from them. The machine was under an extended warranty so I didn’t have to pay anything.

Here's our story lol We bought a new GE Washer Dryer Comb in July. By August it had stopped working. We called GE and they contract with Alpha 1 (the only one in our area that they work with). They set up an appointment to come look at it 2 weeks later. The repair guy was nice. He needed to order a part. GE overnighted it to them, but Alpha 1 didn't have any availability for another couple of weeks. They came back and it wasn't the right part. They order more parts and come back another couple of weeks later (had to reschedule one time in between here because repair man was sick). They come back and still don't have the right parts. We finally got GE to replace the whole unit 9 weeks later. I do not fault Alpha 1 for any of this honestly. GE sucks. BUT Alpha 1 being booked 2-3 weeks out at

Waited two days for the appointment to repair my refrigerator, they called and said they don't work on Frigidaire brand.

Whirlpool 2 n 1 removable washer under warranty through Lowe’s Advantage. We had 2 choices for repairs, Alpha 1 and another local company in Joplin.. based off reviews I requested Alpha 1. It took about 4 days for the first visit which wasn’t that bad. Was given a time frame of 12-5pm which is pretty standard for any repair company. Hayden called when he was on his way and arrived promptly. He was a very polite young man and placed the order for the parts before he left the house; he did say it can take between 7-10 business days for said parts to come in. Fixed our washer/dryer combo GE. Took 6 weeks from the first trip because they had to order parts. We called GE to see what was taking so long and they told us the parts had been delivered 1 week after they were ordered. Fast forward the guy comes out tells us we bought a piece of junk and need to sell it. 1 week after the repair was complete it broke again in the exact same way. Called alpha and they told us there was no warranty with the work at all. Edit. Only one repair was attempted. After it stopped working again alpha wouldn’t come and fix it. Blamed it on GE and GE blames it on alpha. Would love to have the washer fixed properly.
