He was incredibly patient and understanding, and when we were finally ready to move forward, he picked up right where we left off without missing a beat. I had 7 estimates for replacement of my deck. I was impressed the first time I met with Alvin to discuss our deck project . He pointed out details that no one else had. His price was fair and his work crew was polite and professional. John, the forman, made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. He had 2 young men on his crew which I was so impressed with. They measured and leveled everything over and over until it was right. I don't see today's youth show the work ethic and quality that those 2 young men showed. Communication with Alvin was what you should expect from a quality contractor. Anyone needing a new deck would be remiss if you don't give Al's Home Improvements a call. Al and his team did a great job with our deck project that includes a screened in porch with fireplace, outdoor kitchen, bar and area for a hot tub. Al was very helpful with coming up with the design and discussing all of the options for the finishes we chose. The team worked very efficiently. We love our new outdoor space!
