Tim painted areas on the exterior of our house that were in need of attention, and replaced/filled in spots in the wood that were damaged. It was not an easy job because of the age and height of the house, as well as the hot weather. Tim did a great job, really improving the overall appearance of the house. He is not only talented, but also clearly knowledgeable about older homes. Excellent communicator too, and kept to the schedule he set himself, finishing in the predicted time. Highly recommend.

Tim did an excellent job of restoring my porch, not only painting it but replacing some rotted wood. He also power washed the rest of the house and reglazed some old windows. My house looks like new! First and formost, Tim's expertise and craftsmanship is apparent in the final product of our exterior paint project. We're extremely satisfied with the work and the house looks revived and beautiful. The reason why we chose Tim was due to his appreciation and respect for old Springfield homes. He immediately identified the possible pain points that would need addressing in a 100 year old craftman home (window glazing, sanding, cleaning, and color development). With that knowledge, he provided an incredibly reasonable estimate and went to work his craft. We love our home, and Tim delivered a quality of craftsmanship that fully respected that. We have an old 1938 home and the interior was filled with 30 year old wallpaper. Tim removed the wallpaper and repaired all the walls to perfection. We chose a dark color for the kitchen cabinets which required at least three coats and he was as patient as could be, making certain it was perfect. Tim painted the entire first floor of our house and we love it. I would highly recommend Tim. He was professional and gave us a room by room quote and it was very reasonable! Hire this guy, you won’t be disappointed!!

We had Alternative Painting paint the outside of our house and it came out better than we could have imagined. Tim the owner gave his honest opinion on everything we needed to do and he did the rest.
