Above and Beyond Service!! My wife and I decided several years ago to have a pergola installed over our outdoor kitchen. We looked at different companies and chose ALUMA Outdoor Designs. They built a beautiful pergola that was perfect, not only for great looks but also for it's potential stability in a major storm. We entertain family and friends often and everyone loved it and everyone wanted to hang out by it....so much so that we added another 10' X 10' seating section with a television and ceiling fans and lights! The compliments never stopped and everyone always wanted to be out there, so a year later we added another 10' x 10' section! So why do I say Above and Beyond Service? Because this year...years after all this was completed and any warranty was totally expired...we had an issu

So three years ago they installed a pergola in the back of my house. They appear to do a good job, but we have had leaking continuously and we have tried to get them to come to our home to repair. They promise even scouts honorc he says, but they no-show. No matter what do not use this company they do not stand behind their work

I just started the project and did the first payment, Tony was responsible, came to my house as we planned and answered all my questions, told me the project will around 3 months, the price was really good, I will update my review in 3 months with photos, so far everything is working as expected. Update #1: after 4 moth of signing the contract, I still waiting for the company to start building the gazebo, the city approved the permit 2 weeks ago and it is up to ALUMA to do their part, also it got delayed due to the company didn't include all the documents to the city and we waisted some time. I will be opening soon a BBB complaint if I don't get a deadline for this project to be completed Update #2: After 6 month the gazebo is almost completed , I loved it! I will provide another update

The best advice I can give you is to chose another company. I contracted with Aluma Outdoor Designs in December 2020 for a screened-in covered patio with an outdoor kitchen and paid an initial deposit. HOA approved the project in early March 2021 and a second payment was made the day after I received HOA and Permit approval. I was told at that time that the project would start in 2 weeks, it didn't. The project "began" May 17th (2 months later) and to date the project remains unfinished. To be clear the completed work includes pouring of concrete footer and placement of roof support structures. See pictures taken today. Also, the roof support system inspection failed because of bolts used to secure to the house do not meet code. Since March I have called countless times about this project.

Absolutely the worst contractor I have worked with. No ethics whatsoever. Many broken promises. I wish such companies are shut down. Do NOT pay any money till work is done. I would give no stars if that is possible. I am required to give a rating, and 1 star is the lowest I can go. No downspouts and no permits yet.
