Alex is an absolute MIRACLE WORKER. I recently moved from NYC to LA and a large, antique, highly sentimental mirror was shattered and ruined by our movers. I was absolutely devastated, and started calling and visiting various repairmen in the LA area to see who could fix it. Thank heavens I found Alex. He literally repaired the wooden frame so well, so seamlessly, that it is in better shape than it was before. We took the mirror to his workshop and were able to pick it up within a few days. Alex uses text and is very responsive and communicative about the process, and the price for such an involved project was very reasonable. Alex did a beautiful job on my old standing oriental jewelry box. Couldn't be happier. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other restoration places and the time for repair was one week compared to 2 months quoted by another restoration place.

The owner of this place Alex is crazy. I contacted him through Yelp for quote and he responded right away to ask for a picture of the damage. I sent him the email with my picture 6 days ago and through Yelp I even messaged him to tell him that I sent him the picture. So far so good right? Well read on... This is where things started to go down hill. He never responded to my email without the picture nor the message on Yelp. So I wait 2 days and messaged him in Yelp again to ask him if he received the email with the picture and if he could still give me a quote. Alex never responded. I waited 3 days and no response saying that he never received the email or anything like that. Alex just ignored my message.
