American Electric installed recessed lighting in my home yesterday and I am extremely pleased by the work done by Ryan and Issac. They were very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and explained in detail the installation process and operating necessity. I have used American Electric in the past and highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done.

We have had American Electric work on several projects for us over the past several years including remodels, chicken coop wiring, RV 50 Amp service installation, new service, and others. Each time, their team comes in, does what we ask, and makes sure the work is clean and professional. We have passed every inspection with no issues at all. I would highly recommend American Electric.

Be wary of this place. I would not choose this company again. If you agree on a project, they will charge you per hour whether they do what you have asked or not. After they have have "completed" my project I had a city inspector check their work. There were numerous items that needed to be rectified before he would sign off on it. I asked American Electric to come back to fix these items, they did and charged me for it and the inspector said that these items still needed to be addressed. We paid someone else to fix their mishaps to pass the inspection. We gave them a project worth a few thousand dollars, and they won't wave $100 since they never fixed what the inspector asked them to.

These folks are wonderful to work with. We count on them with our clients and for our own personal jobs. Experienced and professional!
